Prophecy  Revelation

1 As there were false prophets in the past history of our people, so you too will have your false teachers, who will insinuate their own disruptive views and, by disowning the Lord who bought them freedom, will bring upon themselves speedy destruction.
2Pet 2:3  Matt 7:15  Jude 1:4  Deut 13:1-3  1Cor 11:19  Gal 2:4  2Tim 4:3

2 Many will copy their debauched behaviour, and the Way of Truth will be brought into disrepute on their account.
Rom 2:24  Jude 1:10  2Pet 2:15  Acts 16:17  Acts 24:14  Jude 1:15  Rev 13:14

3 In their greed they will try to make a profit out of you with untrue tales. But the judgement made upon them long ago is not idle, and the destruction awaiting them is for ever on the watch.
2Cor 2:17  1Thess 2:5  Deut 32:35  1Tim 6:5  Rom 16:18  Titus 1:11  2Cor 12:17-18

4 When angels sinned, God did not spare them: he sent them down into the underworld and consigned them to the dark abyss to be held there until the Judgement.
Jude 1:6  Matt 25:41  Rom 8:32  Isa 14:12  Rev 20:1-3  Rev 20:10  2Pet 2:11

5 He did not spare the world in ancient times: he saved only Noah, the preacher of uprightness, along with seven others, when he sent the Flood over a world of sinners.
2Pet 3:6  Heb 11:7  Jude 1:14-15  1Pet 3:19-20  Gen 6:1-8  Gen 7:1-24  Job 22:15-16

6 He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by reducing them to ashes as a warning to future sinners;
Jude 1:7  Num 26:10  Deut 29:23  1Cor 10:11  Gen 19:24-25  Luke 17:28-30  Amos 4:11

7 but rescued Lot, an upright man who had been sickened by the debauched way in which these vile people behaved-
Gen 19:16  Gen 19:29  1Cor 10:13  Gen 19:7-8  2Pet 3:17  Gen 13:13  Gen 19:22

8 for that upright man, living among them, was outraged in his upright soul by the crimes that he saw and heard every day.
Ps 119:158  Ezek 9:4  Ps 119:136  Prov 25:26  1Tim 1:9  Ezek 9:6  Jas 5:16

9 All this shows that the Lord is well able to rescue the good from their trials, and hold the wicked for their punishment until the Day of Judgement,
1Cor 10:13  Ps 34:15-19  Rev 3:10  2Pet 3:7  2Tim 3:12  Jude 1:14-15  2Cor 5:10-11

10 especially those who follow the desires of their corrupt human nature and have no respect for the Lord's authority. Such self-willed people with no reverence are not afraid of offending against the glorious ones,
Exod 22:28  Jude 1:16  Jude 1:10  Jude 1:18  Rom 1:24-27  Luke 19:14  Heb 13:4

11 but the angels in their greater strength and power make no complaint or accusation against them in the Lord's presence.
Jude 1:9  2Thess 1:7  Dan 6:22  Ps 103:20  Ps 104:4

12 But these people speak evil of what they do not understand; they are like brute beasts, born only to be caught and killed, and like beasts they will be destroyed, being injured in return for the injuries they have inflicted.
Jude 1:10  Jer 12:3  2Pet 2:19  2Pet 1:4  Ezek 21:31  Gal 6:8  Jer 4:22

13 Debauchery even by day they make their pleasure; they are unsightly blots, and amuse themselves by their trickery even when they are sharing your table;
Rom 13:13  Rom 2:8-9  1Pet 4:4  1Cor 11:20-22  1Thess 5:7-8  2Pet 2:15  2Tim 4:14

14 with their eyes always looking for adultery, people with an insatiable capacity for sinning, they will seduce any but the most stable soul. Where greed is concerned they are at their peak of fitness. They are under a curse.
Eph 2:3  2Pet 2:3  2Pet 2:18  1John 2:16  2Pet 3:16  Jas 1:8  1Cor 11:19

15 They have left the right path and wandered off to follow the path of Balaam son of Bosor, who set his heart on a dishonest reward, but soon had his fault pointed out to him:
Jude 1:11  Rev 2:14  Num 22:5-7  2Pet 2:13  Acts 13:10  Deut 23:4-5  Mic 6:5

16 a dumb beast of burden, speaking with a human voice, put a stop to the madness of the prophet.
Num 22:21-33  Acts 26:11  Acts 26:24-25  Eccl 7:25  Eccl 9:3  Hos 9:7  Luke 16:11

17 People like this are dried-up springs, fogs swirling in the wind, and the gloom of darkness is stored up for them.
Jude 1:12-13  Jer 14:3  2Pet 2:4  Eph 4:14  Hos 6:4  Job 6:14-17  Jude 1:6

18 With their high-sounding but empty talk they tempt back people who have scarcely escaped from those who live in error, by playing on the disordered desires of their human nature and by debaucheries.
2Pet 1:4  2Pet 2:20  Jude 1:15-16  Jas 5:5  Rev 13:5-6  Rev 13:11  2Thess 2:4

19 They may promise freedom but are themselves slaves to corruption; because if anyone lets himself be dominated by anything, then he is a slave to it;
John 8:34  1Pet 2:16  Gal 5:13  Gal 5:1  Rom 6:16-22  2Tim 2:26  Isa 28:1

20 and anyone who has escaped the pollution of the world by coming to know our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and who then allows himself to be entangled and mastered by it a second time, ends up by being worse than he was before.
